Privacy Policy

Effective 29 October 2026

This policy covers two things: this website, and TheSpiritualFiles Publisher, the private tool we use to publish our own videos.

This website

  • No accounts, sign-up forms, analytics, advertising or tracking. We set no cookies of our own.
  • Videos are embedded with YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Once you press play, YouTube may set cookies under the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

TheSpiritualFiles Publisher

TheSpiritualFiles Publisher is a self-hosted copy of the open-source scheduler Postiz. Only the owner of TheSpiritualFiles uses it, to publish original videos to TheSpiritualFiles' own accounts on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. It isn't offered to the public and has no other users.

It handles only:

  • OAuth access tokens for our own connected accounts;
  • basic profile details of those accounts (name, username, profile picture);
  • our own videos, captions and cover images;
  • the status and basic statistics (views, likes, follower counts) of our own posts.

Tokens and settings are stored on the owner's computer. Video files are kept in our own Cloudflare R2 storage so each platform can fetch them while publishing. Nothing is sold or shared. Data is sent only to the official API of the platform a video is being published to.

Platform details

  • TikTok: we use Login Kit and the Content Posting API to read our account's basic profile and stats, list our own videos, and send our videos to our TikTok inbox as drafts or publish them.
  • YouTube: the Publisher uses YouTube API Services. See the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Access can be revoked at any time at Google security settings. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
  • Instagram and Facebook: access can be removed in Facebook Settings → Business Integrations, or in Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites.

Retention and deletion

Tokens are kept only while an account is connected. Disconnecting an account in the Publisher deletes its tokens, and access can also be revoked from each platform's settings at any time. To ask us to delete any data connected to the Publisher, email thespiritualfiles@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion". We will delete it and confirm by email.

Children

This website and the Publisher are not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
